Chicken Tikka Chilli Fry
Ingredients
- Boneless chicken ½ kg
- Capsicum 1 thinly sliced
- Onion 1 thinly sliced
- Tomato 1 sliced
- Green chillies 4 cut diagonally
- Orange colour pinch
- Butter 2 ounce
- Chilli powder 1 tsp
- Cumin 1 tsp (roasted and crushed )
- Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
- Crushed red pepper 1 tsp
- Crushed black pepper 1 tsp
- Salt 1 tsp
- National chicken tikka masala 1 tbsp
- Black pepper powder ½ tsp
- All spice ½ tsp
- Sliced ginger 2 tbsp
- Coriander leaves 2 tbsp (chopped)
- Yogurt 2 tbsp
- Lemon juice 5 tbsp
Cooking Directions
- Marinate chicken strips with salt, chilli powder,black pepper powder, all spice powder, ginger garlic paste, roasted and crushed cumin, yogurt, lemon juice, pinch of orange colour, leave it for 15 minutes.
- Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan fry marinated chicken, now put a burning coal in pan, drop some oil and cover for 1 minute.
- Method for Gravy: Heat butter in a fry pan, add onion, tomato and capsicum, stir fry for 2 minutes.
- Add sliced ginger, green chillies, crushed black pepper and red pepper add cooked chicken with lemon juice.
- Now lastly add coriander leaves and remove from stove.
- Serve hot with nan.
